In 2007, Brandon “Blue” Hamilton got his professional start in the music business recording with George Clinton and later with Myron Butler & Levi. Having grown up performing in various Jazz and Blues bands in the St. Louis area, Blue developed a seasoned musical ear far in advance of his peers. He entered into the industry with over 10years of experience performing bass and electric guitar.
Blue got his introduction into the professional music scene of Atlanta, Georgia by recording guitar/bass and doing vocal production for artists like Ciara, Robin Thicke, Lloyd, Tiffany Evans, and Ne-yo. After establishing himself in the Atlanta area, Blue landed his first producer credit by teaming up with world renown songwriter, Diane Warren on “Born to Be Somebody”, a song for Justin Bieber’s record-breaking film “Never Say Never”.
Blue later worked along with Ryan Seacrest and Katy Perry to help establish the career of up and coming artist, Rebecca Black. He would go on to work with Justin Bieber again, this time co-writing with the massive star for his “Under The Mistletoe” album, and help build the careers of artists like Lecrae, August Alsina, and The Shadowboxers. Additionally, he has done commercial radio and tv work for corporate brands like Walmart, KFC, Toyota, and the Bruno Mars owned, Selva Rey.
